Our Technology Focus
At Clarifying, we are primarily focused on audio and video technology, including:
• Audio filtering: we research, develop, and
manufacture advanced live and post-production noise reduction filtering
software and systems. Our filters are optimized for extracting
speech and other desired sounds in the most challenging of situations.
• Speaker Identification: we research, develop,
and manufacture speaker identification (ID) & verification software
and systems for security and forensic applications.
• Microphone arrays: we research, develop, and
manufacture analog and digital microphone arrays for detecting activity
or capturing desired sounds in noisy environments and across long
distances.
• Multi-channel audio recorders: as a result of
our microphone array work, we have developed a portable, battery
powered 64-channel audio recording system that is based on VOIP (Voice
Over IP) technology. Using VOIP allows the recorder to be
conveniently remoted via wired and wireless Ethernet networks.
• High-end optics: through our partnerships in
Russia, we develop and deliver optical systems customized for use with
CCD cameras, night vision equipment, and lasers. Our clients use
these systems to obtain ID-quality photographs at long distances (e.g.
in excess of 1 km).
• Accelerometers: working with another of our
partners, we developed the best performing commercially available
wide-band accelerometer. These sensors can be used singly or in
networks for detecting activity from long ranges or collecting speech
through various materials.
• Video filtering: we manufacture and integrate
post-production, analog and digital video filtering suites for our
forensic laboratory customers.
