Clarifying Audio Plug-ins Released
Clarifying has released three plug-ins for use in DirectX-compatible software applications
by law enforcement and security end-users, as well as third-party
vendors. The plug-ins include Broadband Noise Reduction, Impulse
Reduction (for GSM/Cell Phone Interference), and Microphone Array
Beamforming.

Clarifying Multi-channel Digital Recorder (CMDR) System Released
Clarifying has
launched a new line of digital microphone array technology with release
of its first generation CMDR system. The CMDR is the world's first
portable 64 channel recorder for microphone array and other speech
applications. It can capture over five hours of 64 channel, 24
bit, uncompressed audio, stream it over VOIP, and store it onto an
internal or multiple external USB2 hard disks. The CMDR was
designed for use by law enforcement, security, academic, industrial,
and defense customers.

Negotiator Array Panel (NAP) and Microphone Array Tile (MAT) Launched
Clarifying, in
partnership with Daniel Technology, has released the (patent-pending)
NAP and MAT for sale to the law enforcement and security markets.

Anil Alexander (PhD) Joins Clarifying
Dr. Alexander has
joined Clarifying Technologies Ltd. (UK) as a Senior Research Engineer
after receiving his PhD from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology,
Lausanne, (EPFL) where he specialized in automatic speaker recognition
& identification. Dr. Alexander will be leading Clarifying's
efforts in speaker recognition technology, including product
development and R&D services.

products are specially designed for forensic and surveillance applications, including

in video footage (Retro); and covert wireless video surveillance kits (Darc and
Observer).

Underwater Version of the Climber
Vortex
HC has developed an underwater version of the Climber robot that uses its patented "tornado

CLAWAR 2005 Results
A
robot based on the Climber has won first place in the CLAWAR (CLimbing And WAlking
Robot) 2005 International Wall Climbing Competition held in London, UK
during the CLAWAR conference (13-15 September). This is the second time in a
row that the Climber has won. Congratulations
to
the
winning
team from Duke University (USA).
